Henley takes 1-shot lead at TPC Boston

Norton, MA (SportsNetwork.com) - Russell Henley fired a 6-under 65 on Sunday and took a 1-stroke lead after 54 holes of the Deutsche Bank Championship.

Henley ended three rounds at 12-under-par 201. The 25-year-old will go for his third PGA Tour title on Monday at TPC Boston.

Billy Horschel posted 4-under 67 to move into second place at minus-11. Rory McIlroy, the 2012 winner, and Chris Kirk played together on Sunday and both fired 7-under 64s to jump into a share of third place at 10-under-par 203. They were joined there by second-round co-leader Jason Day (69).

Webb Simpson, the 2011 champion, moved into sixth place at minus-9 thanks to a third-round 68.

Ryan Palmer, who shared the second-round lead with Day, posted his second straight 71 on Sunday. He fell into a tie for seventh at 8-under 205. Palmer was joined there by Kevin Streelman (65), Seung-Yul Noh (68) and Keegan Bradley (69).
