NOTES: The Champions Tour travels to the West Coast this week for the Boeing Classic in the state of Washington, held at the Jack Nicklaus-designed TPC Snoqualmie Ridge. With Colin Montgomerie not playing this week, Bernhard Langer will look to extend his lead atop the money list and Charles Schwab Cup standings.

Langer is coming off his fifth win of the season last week at the Dick's Sporting Goods Open. No other player has more than two wins. Langer currently leads Montgomerie by more than $787,000 for the money lead. He has already earned over $2.65 million in 2014. Langer also leads Montgomerie by 633 points in the Charles Schwab Cup standings. He has finished in the top 10 in 16 of 17 events this year, including a tie for eighth at the Masters.

Opened in 1999, the TPC Snoqualmie Ridge is ranked as one of the top-100 modern courses by Golfweek and was certified in the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program.

The Boeing Classic in 2005 marked the first Champions Tour event in the Seattle area since the 1995 GTE Northwest Classic. That event ran from 1986 to 1995 and included such standout winners as Walter Morgan, Dave Stockton, Mike Hill, George Archer, Al Geiberger, Bruce Crampton and Chi Chi Rodriguez.

Last year, John Riegger carded rounds of 69-64-68 to claim a 2-stroke victory over John Cook. Riegger, who was making just his fifth career start on the Champions Tour, earned his maiden tour victory at 15-under-par 201. Riegger's last professional win came at the Web.com Tour's 2010 Rex Hospital Open.

Mark Calcavecchia defeated Russ Cochran on the first playoff hole in 2011 with a birdie to get his first Champions Tour victory. Calcavecchia and Cochran both fired rounds of 7-under 65 in the final round and tied at 14-under 202. Calcavecchia birdied his final three holes in regulation, including a pitch-in at 16, a downhill 25-footer at 17 and a 2-putt from 30 feet at the last. It was the first playoff victory on either the PGA Tour or Champions Tour for Calcavecchia.

Hale Irwin, the Champions Tour leader in career wins with 45, recorded the first hole-in-one of his Champions Tour career here in 2011. The 66-year-old aced the par-3 ninth hole with a 6-iron from 185 yards in the first round.

In 2010, Langer fired three rounds in the 60s and cruised to his fifth victory of the season. Langer finished the tournament at 18-under 198, which matched Loren Roberts' tournament record from 2009. Langer won by three strokes over Nick Price.

Roberts birdied the final two holes to beat O'Meara by a single stroke in 2009. Roberts closed with a 7-under 65 to finish at 18-under-par 198. His total of 198 beat the old tournament record of 199 that David Eger set in 2005.

In 2007, Denis Watson eagled the second playoff hole to end the largest playoff in Champions Tour history. Watson survived a 7-man playoff, the biggest on either the PGA or Champions Tour. There had been a 6-man playoff on the PGA Tour and a 5-player sudden death on the Champions Tour. Joe Ozaki, R.W. Eaks, Gil Morgan, Dana Quigley, Eger and Craig Stadler were the other participants. They finished regulation at 9-under-par 207.

The Champions Tour heads to Canada next week for the Shaw Charity Classic at Canyon Meadows Golf & Country Club in Calgary, Alberta, where Rocco Mediate won in 2013.
