Doral-based Regent Seven Seas Cruises this week reported higher revenues and profits for the second quarter compared to last year.

The luxury cruise line, which has three all-suite ships and one on the way, reported that revenue increased slightly to $142.9 million for the quarter that ended June 30. Net income jumped from $6.5 million a year ago to $11.7 million.

Regent is part of Prestige Cruise Holdings, which manages some of Apollo Management’s cruise assets. The company is privately held, but Regent Seven Seas Cruises reports financial results because it carries public debt.
