The Sports Network

Milwaukee, WI (SportsNetwork.com) - The Milwaukee Brewers have recalled pitcher Mike Fiers from Triple-A Nashville to start Saturday against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Fiers is getting the start since Matt Garza is on the disabled list with a strained left oblique.

The righty made four relief appearances in June for the Brewers. He is 8-5 with a 2.55 earned run average in 17 starts for the Sounds.

The Brewers cleared room on the roster for Fiers by optioning reliever Rob Wooten to Nashville after Friday's 9-3 win over the Dodgers.
