The folks who run the Sacramento River Train and a Wild West shootout ride along the same route are now chugging into the post-apocalyptic world of zombies. Not to worry. Guests who want to fight back get a hefty laser-tag gun. At two hours, some say the ride takes the zombie concept to the point of overkill, but the ride is popular enough that organizers plan to add a similar event on their sister railroad, the Sierra Railroad Dinner Train in Oakdale, beginning Aug. 17.
