The River Seafood & Oyster Bar is heading to a new home on the Miami River.

Specific dates have not yet been set for the 80-seat restaurant to close in its current space at 650 S. Miami Ave. or open at the new, expanded site more than a mile away at 340 W. Flagler St. The move is expected to take place in the first quarter of 2015.

The restaurant’s new home is on the ground floor of Flagler on the River, a 250-unit rental tower developed by the Melo Group. The developer is in talks to bring two more eateries to the complex.
