Orioles place McFarland on bereavement list

Baltimore, MD (SportsNetwork.com) - The Baltimore Orioles placed relief pitcher T.J. McFarland on the bereavement list and recalled pitcher Preston Guilmet from Triple-A Norfolk.

McFarland, a lefty, has gone 4-2 with a 3.07 ERA in 23 games for the Orioles this season.

The right-handed Guilmet has posted a 5.23 ERA in 10 games with the Orioles this season, striking out 12 batters and walking two in 10 1/3 innings.
