“Shark Tank” works. Last year Pittsburgh entrepreneur Lani Lazzari, then only 19, was discovered on the popular ABC show when pitching her all natural face and body scrubs. Lani pitched her soothing products, which, she says, can turn a shower into spa like bliss. Impressed, panelist Mark Cuban threw in $100,000 for 33 percent of the business; now her Simple Scrubs line is selling at Destination Maternity.

Dine

New Yorkers have long known that dining at culinary stalwart Il Mulino restaurant is like stepping into an authentic trattoria in The Boot. Lucky Miamians don’t have to travel to the Sunny Isles location to experience this old-school gem. It’s now open at the old Clarke’s space in SoFi, where Sports Illustrated cover model Nina Agdal was spotted enjoying dinner last week. Bring on the limoncello.
