Swansea City and Chivas Guadalajara draw 1-1

The Associated Press

English Premier League side Swansea City played out a 1-1 draw with Mexico's Chivas Guadalajara in a friendly at baseball's Miller Park on Wednesday

Swansea scored first when Nathan Dyer controlled a cross from Marvin Emnes in the 57th minute and blasted a shot past goalkeeper Luis Ernesto Michel from 15 yards out.

The Swans protected the lead with 10 players after Neil Taylor was shown a red card for shoving in the 78th minute until Giovani Hernandez of Chivas scored from a penalty in the 90th.

Major League team the Milwaukee Brewers converted their infield and outfield into a pitch for the match. Neither team had trouble with their footing despite the pitcher's mound and a layer of the dirt being removed and covered with sod.
