Penguins' Crosby decides against wrist surgery

Penguins center Sidney Crosby has opted not to have surgery for a right wrist injury that hindered him during the playoffs.

Crosby, the reigning MVP and scoring leader of the NHL, had been mulling whether to have arthroscopic surgery. According to the Penguins, he instead will continue with treatments.

The team's training camp opens in about two months.
