Brody Jenner: There’s no rift with Kardashians

Brody Jenner is still in with Kim Kardashian even though he opted to attend her ex Reggie Bush’s wedding and not his stepsister’s to Kanye West. Bush wed dancer Lilit Avagyan at the same place LeBron James and Savannah Brinson tied the knot, the Grand Del Mar hotel in San Diego, over the weekend. Bruce Jenner’s son, 30, gave an explanation to reporters at the Ninth Annual ESPY Awards All-Star Celebrity Kickoff Party at the Mondrian in Hollywood: “I was working. It’s kinda ridiculous that everybody’s making such a big deal out of it.”

CURTAIN DROPS

Tupac Shakur fans were dealt a blow: The Broadway musical Holler If Ya Hear Me, which uses songs from one of hip-hop’s greatest artists, is closing after less than two months. The show was in financial trouble from the moment it opened in early June. Last week, it managed to pull in only $155,000 from a potential of $917,000 — or less than 17 percent. Discounting had left the average ticket price at $38.44. It stars slam poet Saul Williams as a recently sprung inmate hoping to stay out of trouble.

TAKEN 2

Ryan Seacrest is off the market again. This time the lovely young lady is fitness model Shayna Taylor. How do we know they’re a couple? Taylor herself confirmed the news. “I’m a lucky girl,” the leggy blonde — who is an age-appropriate 38 — told paps who were trailing the couple at LAX. She also posted pics of her and the American Idol host, 39, getting snuggly on their recent Eurotrip.

LOVE TROUBLE

You’d better believe it’s not easy being Chris Brown’s girlfriend. Model Karreuche Tran has opened up about her rocky relationship with the troubled singer on BET’s Just Keke, set to air Wednesday. Tran tells host Keke Palmer that the social media abuse is tough to take: “They make up all kind of crazy stuff . . but because they know nothing about me, because I stay so mute sometimes, that leaves open space for them to say whatever they want.”

THUMBS UP

Tracy Morgan is getting better every day. “I’m OK,” he said outside his New Jersey home, where photogs were waiting to get a glimpse of the comedian who is recuperating from a deadly car accident. “I love you very much. Thank you. I appreciate everything.” Morgan was photographed in a wheelchair; his injuries include several broken ribs, a broken nose and a broken femur.

TIMING IS EVERYTHING

At least Nick Lachey waited a few days after his ex-wife Jessica Simpson’s wedding to announce the happy news: He and Vanessa Minnillo are expecting. It’s a girl this time for the pop singer and TV personality. The couple’s son Camden is 22 months old.
