Veterans job fair to be held Wednesday

 

  Veterans from all service branches and eligible family members are invited to the second annual "Paychecks for Patriots" Veterans Hiring Fair on Wednesday.

  CareerSource Broward will host the free fair, presented by Dollar General and supported by Florida’s Department of Economic Opportunity, the Florida Department of Veterans’ Affairs and the Florida National Guard.

More than 60 employers will be represented including: Aerotek, American Express, Ameriprise Financial, AutoNation, Citi, City Furniture, Cruise Planners, Florida Highway Patrol, Fort Lauderdale Police Department, Home Depot, Jackson Health System, Nipro Diagnostics and more. The free fair is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 356th Quartermaster Co. National Guard Armory, 400 SW 24th St., Fort Lauderdale.

Veterans may register and search for jobs online at www.employflorida.com/portals/ veteran.
