Lynx Moore named Western Conference player of week

Minnesota Lynx forward Maya Moore has been named the WNBA's Western Conference Player of the Week for the second time this season.

Moore started the week with a game-high 30 points, including 16 in the fourth quarter, as the Lynx rallied for an 83-72 win over Los Angeles. She helped Minnesota defeat Tulsa on Thursday, scoring a game-high 33 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. Moore also finished with three assists and two steals and went 8-for-8 from the free throw line.

Moore finished the week with a game-high 26 points and 12 rebounds in Sunday's win over Seattle. It was Moore's 19th double-double of her career and her seventh this season.

Moore picked up her seventh Player of the Week honor of her career.
