Rogers State clears hurdle for NCAA Division II

Rogers State University has cleared a second hurdler as the Claremore school attempts to move into NCAA Division II.

School officials say the NCAA has notified them that RSU has successfully completed its first year of candidacy and is now in its second year of the process that takes a minimum of three years to complete.

RSU is competing in the NCAA Division II Heartland Conference but is not yet eligible for NCAA postseason play.
