Report: Hornets agree to terms with Marvin Williams

(SportsNetwork.com) - The Charlotte Hornets and forward Marvin Williams have agreed to a two-year deal worth $14 million, according to Yahoo! Sports.

Earlier Saturday, the Hornets learned that Gordon Heyward will be staying with the Jazz after Utah decided to match the offer sheet the restricted free agent swingman received from Charlotte.

Williams averaged 9.1 points and 5.1 rebounds in 66 games with the Utah Jazz last season.

In 626 NBA games with the Hawks and Jazz, Williams has averaged 10.8 points and 5.1 rebounds.
