The Hilton Cabana Miami Beach, a 231-room hotel at 6261 Collins Ave., is now open.

Featuring two outdoor pools and L’echon Brasserie, a restaurant from The Pubbelly Restaurant Group, the hotel’s style is inspired by 1950s-era Miami Beach. The property opened June 19.

Built on the site of the former Allison Hotel, the new Hilton has two towers. One incorporates the old hotel, with two new floors built on top. A second tower is completely new.

The Witkoff Group, Rockpoint Group and Highgate Hotels developed the hotel, but did not release the cost of the project. RLJ Lodging Trust, which had announced plans in 2012 to acquire the property for $71.6 million after completion, said on June 23 that it had closed on the deal.
