Tampa, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Tampa Bay Lightning added to their free- agent crop by signing forward Brian Boyle to a three-year contract Tuesday evening.

The 6-foot-7, 244-pounder played in all 82 regular-season games, totaling six goals and 18 points, then buttressed the Rangers' run to the Stanley Cup Finals with three goals and five assists in 25 postseason contests.

Over 355 NHL appearances for the Kings and Blueshirts since 2007, Boyle has totaled 52 goals and 48 assists with 311 penalty minutes.

Boyle joins ex-Rangers captain Ryan Callahan and former New York defenseman and new Bolts signee Anton Stralman on Florida's Gulf Coast.
