Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Los Angeles Dodgers placed infielder Justin Turner on the 15-day disabled list Sunday with a left hamstring strain.

Turner suffered the injury while running out an RBI double in Saturday's 9-1 win over St. Louis.

The 29-year-old infielder owns a .302 batting average with three home runs and 21 RBI across 59 games for the Dodgers this season.

Los Angeles recalled infielder Carlos Triunfel from Triple-A Albuquerque to take his place on the roster.

In two previous stints with the Dodgers this season, Triunfel hit .286 with a home run in seven games.
