Reed takes 2-shot lead at Congressional

Bethesda, MD ( - Patrick Reed carded an even-par 71 on Saturday and that helped him grab a 2-stroke lead after three rounds of the Quicken Loans National.

Reed, a two-time winner this season on the PGA Tour, ended 54 holes at 6- under-par 207. He will go for his fourth tour win on Sunday.

Seung-Yul Noh fired a 5-under 66 to soar into a share of second place at minus-4. Noh, who had the low round of the day by two strokes, was joined in second place by Freddie Jacobson (71) and Marc Leishman (73).

Justin Rose, who won this tournament in 2010 at Aronimink Golf Club, posted an even-par 71 in round three at Congressional Country Club. He was joined in fifth place at 3-under 210 by Brendon de Jonge (71), Richard H. Lee (68), Ben Martin (70), Shawn Stefani (68) and Hudson Swafford (73).

Defending champion Bill Haas (71) is tied for 11th place at 2-under 211.
