Two men stabbed, one dead in Miami apartment fight

Two men were stabbed early Friday morning at an apartment building in Miami, leaving one man dead and the other in critical condition at Jackson Memorial Hospital.

At about 4 a.m., three men and one woman were involved in a fight that began in an apartment at 1122 NW Third St. and spilled out onto the street, said Frederica Burden, a City of Miami spokesperson.

One man was stabbed in the neck and died of his injury. The other was transported to the Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital with multiple stab wounds and is in critical condition.

The aggressor and woman has not been found.

“We are asking that anybody that was out in the street at this time or knows anything about the third male and the female that was back there to contact the homicide unit or Crime Stoppers,” Burden said.

Miami Herald staff photographer Walter Michot contributed to this report.
