San Francisco, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - The San Francisco Giants placed outfielder Angel Pagan on the 15-day disabled list Wednesday due to a lower back strain that has sidelined him for the team's last eight games.

The move is retroactive to June 15.

In 63 games this season, Pagan is batting .307 with three homers, 19 RBI and 11 stolen bases.

The Giants recalled infielder Adam Duvall, who will make his major league debut, from Triple-A Fresno. The 25-year-old was hitting .297 with 23 home runs and 67 RBI for the Grizzlies.
