Was Jenna Dewan really working during the recent NYC premiere of her hubby Channing Tatum’s movie, 22 Jump Street? The hunk (who called himself a “high-functioning alcoholic” in a June GQ interview) showed up solo, leaving onlookers to assume there are problems in the three-year marriage. Star magazine is reporting that Tatum’s constant partying, flirtatiousness and nonstop schedule have caused some stress between the two. “They may appear happy,” an insider explains, “but things are not good.”

Job change

Diane Sawyer is stepping down as ABC’s evening news anchor. In her place: David Muir, who has been a sub for Sawyer and also does the Made in America series.

Backpedaling

Gary Oldman has apologized for defending Mel Gibson and Alec Baldwin from critics of their controversial remarks about Jews and gays. “I am deeply remorseful that comments I recently made in the Playboy interview were offensive to many Jewish people,” Oldman wrote in an open letter to the Anti-Defamation League.

Family rift

Rob Kardashian apparently isn’t keeping up with his sister Kim since abruptly leaving her wedding festivities last month, according to widespread media reports. The sock entrepreneur has not been on good terms with his famous sister, who, sources tell the site, thinks her bro is lazy and bringing down the family name (insert laugh track here).

Love connection

Now that Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith are done, another lady may be stepping in. L.A. stylist Ivan Bitton tells RadarOnline that his pal, Indian actress Mallika Sherawat, had a lot of chemistry with the Spaniard. The two were caught on video grind-dancing in Cannes two years ago and that sight may have been the beginning of the end of the logntime couple’s marriage.
