Miami police released few details about a murdered man found in a single-family home in the city's north end on Monday.

Police said they received a call from someone living at 8551 NE Eighth Ct., who said he had returned home to find a dead man in the home across the street from Phyllis R. Miller Elementary.

Police, who wouldn't confirm how the man was killed, said they were looking for a third roommate late Monday. Police said they were contacted about 3 p.m.

A small section of Eighth Court was blocked off with crime scene tape and a Miami crime scene investigations truck was parked out front. Students were not at the school, which is out for summer vacation.

Miami police Sgt. Freddie Cruz would only say it’s a "suspicious death."
