Prayer service planned for 3 missing Israeli teens

South Florida faithful will father Tuesday evening in Northeast Miami-Dade to pray for the return of three Israeli teens who disappeared earlier this month.

The Community Solidarity Prayer Service is planned for 6 p.m. in the gym of the Michael-Ann Russell Jewish Community Center, 18900 NE 25th Ave. Expected are community leaders, rabbis and the Israeli consul general to Florida and Puero Rico, Chaim Shacham.

The three teens are believed to have been kidnapped by Palestinian militants.

Eyal Yifrach, 19, is a student at a yeshiva in the Jewish settlement enclave in Hebron, Naftali Frenkel, 16, is a yeshiva student at the settlement of Kfar Etzion and a U.S. citizen, and Gilad Shaer, 16, is a fellow student in the same institution.

An inquiry determined that the three were hitchhiking home at a highway junction north of the West Bank city of Hebron when they went missing.
