The 43rd annual Queen Liliuokalani Race, considered the largest long-distance outrigger canoe race in the world, will be held Aug. 30-Sept. 1. The race, with divisions for men and women of various age groups, will be held along the Big Island’s Kona Coast and the historic bays of Kailua, Keauhou, Kealakekua and Honaunau.
