Florida: Orlando Science Center resumes extended summer hours

Roberto Gonzalez

The Orlando Science Center is turning back on its night light, once again extending hours for the summer after a two-year hiatus. The center’s laser-light shows in the Dr. Phillips CineDome feature classic rock from the Beatles, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd. The nights also give visitors the chance to observe moons, planets and deep-sky objects in the Crosby Observatory. The program runs on Friday and Saturday nights through Aug. 16.
