Shakira: I don’t need marriage

Who needs a piece of paper? Not Shakira. The Colombian hip-shaker, 37, tells the summer issue of Glam Belleza Latina that there’s no rush to walk down the aisle with her toddler Milan’s father, Spanish soccer stud Gerard Pique, 27. “We already have what’s essential, you know? We have a union, a love for each other, and a baby,” said the former The Voice judge, who is in Miami shooting a music video. “I think that those aspects of our relationship are already established, and marriage is not going to change them.” The family of three call Barcelona home.

Questions, questions

If Uma Thurman isn’t dating Quentin Tarantino, then why did the actress, 44, and director, 51, arrive separately to Mr. Chow in Los Angeles on Tuesday? Recent reports allege they have taken their longtime friendship/collaboration to the next level. And if they don’t want anyone to know they are together why go to a hot spot where paparazzi camp? A source tells Us Weekly Tarantino has loved his supposed muse ( Kill Bill, Pulp Fiction) for years.

Hot to trot

The rough patches are in the rear view mirror, apparently. The marriage of Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones is fine, thank you, according to the actor. Douglas, 69, spilled to UK’s The Sun: “Sexually? I am more comfortable in my own skin now.” And he wasn’t done with the TMI, telling People their union is “like a lovely orchid.”

Taylor’s trespassers

Police in Rhode Island arrested three people outside Taylor Swift’s beachfront home after they accosted security guards at the singer’s property. Authorities say the three Connecticut residents were charged with misdemeanor breach of peace after they threw beer bottles and shouted expletives at the guards Sunday outside Swift’s house. Thankfully, Swift wasn’t at the home at the time.

Perfect match

Well, this makes sense. Both Katy Perry and Rob Pattinson are coming off fairly disastrous relationships (she Russell Brand and John Mayer; he Kristen Stewart). RadarOnline reports the Twilight hunk, 28, and singer, 29, hooked up at an afterparty at the premiere for his latest movie, The Rover, in L.A. last week.

All in the family

Mike Sorrentino got into a drama-filled Situation Tuesday. The former Jersey Shore cast member was charged with simple assault after a confrontation with his brother at the New Jersey tanning salon he and his family own and operate. Sorrentino posted $500 bail and was released; a court date hasn’t been set. The Sitch, whom TMZ snapped later in the day with a black eye and bandage on his hand, is due to return to star this summer in the TV Guide Network’s The Sorrentinos.

Affair to forget

Time to curb your enthusiasm? Cheryl Hines still has time to call off her wedding to Robert Kennedy. The National Enquirer is reporting RFK’s son, 60, is two-timing his 48-year-old fiancee with a woman he met at his gym. “He turned on the Kennedy charm to woo her into the sack,” a source told the tabloid of the divorcee who apparently had no idea the famous lawyer was engaged.

Ready and able

Zendaya says she’s the right choice for the role of Aaliyah in a film about her life because “if you want something done right, you’ve got to do it yourself.” “I really want it to be perfect for her and show young people what she was able to do and what she accomplished,” the Disney Channel star, 17, said after Lifetime announced she would play the role of the R&B singer who was killed in 2001 at age 22 when her plane crashed after takeoff from a Bahamian runway. The family is said to not be happy about the TV biopic and would rather her life story be taken to the big screen.

In the flesh

Let’s hope the cast is as genetically blessed. In the works: True Blood': The Musical. The show will revolve around protagonist, telepath and waitress Sookie Stackhouse, portrayed in the series by Anna Paquin. It is unclear who would take on her role.
