Keeneland to host 2015 Breeders' Cup

Louisville, KY ( - Keeneland Race Course will reportedly be the host track for the 32nd edition of the Breeders' Cup World Championships in 2015.

According to the Louisville Courier-Journal, an official announcement is expected later this month. The Lexington, Kentucky track would serve as host for the first time.

The report also said that the Breeders' Cup will reveal sites for 2016 and 2017 as well. The Courier-Journal said Santa Anita, this year's host track, will again do so in 2016 and San Diego's Del Mar Thoroughbred Club will host for the first time in 2017.

This year's World Championships will take place at Santa Anita on Friday, Oct. 31 and Saturday, Nov. 1.
