Michael Smith of Archbishop Curley Notre Dame Prep received the Miami Shores Outstanding Student Award for representing unity in faith and community values.

Michael graduated summa cum laude as valedictorian with a GPA of 5.01. He was involved with the Miami Shores Recreation Center and the Community Leadership Partnership, a member of the Edmund Rice Community, participant in the Action Leadership Workshop and a Student Ambassador at his school. Michael also was named Male Scholar Athlete of the Year.

Michael will study business at the University of Florida.
