Miami teen dead, friend arrested after gunplay

Two teens playing with a gun. The gun goes off. Then, tragedy.

The violence took place in Miami, leaving one teen dead and the other under arrest.

According to Miami police, the two friends were together Wednesday night in a home at 1400 NW Third St.

William Pagan, 16, was shot in the chest and died in a bedroom. His friend ran away, according to police.

Less than half an hour later, an officer spotted Juan Acosta, 17, and took him into custody.

Acosta later confessed to accidentally shooting his friend, police said. He was charged with one count of manslaughter with a deadly weapon.
