Bengals re-sign TE Smith

Cincinnati, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - The Cincinnati Bengals re-signed tight end Alex Smith on Monday.

Smith, who was set to become an unrestricted free agent, joined the Bengals last season and played in all 16 games with three catches for 12 yards and a touchdown.

In 119 career games with Tampa Bay, Philadelphia, Cleveland and Cincinnati, Smith has 163 receptions for 1,473 yards and 13 touchdowns.
