Think you’re ready to go the distance? Then head south for the annual Florida Keys Community College Swim Around Key West this Saturday. More than 100 swimmers are expected to compete in the annual 12.5-mile event. The clockwise, open-water route circles the entire island, encompassing the waters of the Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico.
