Reveco tops Alvarado to keep title

Buenos Aires, Argentina (SportsNetwork.com) - Juan Carlos Reveco successfully defended his WBA flyweight title by scoring a 12-round unanimous decision over Felix Alvarado Friday night.

Reveco (34-1, 18 KOs) made the eighth defense of his belt he initially won from Armando Torres in July of 2010.

Alvarado (18-2) has lost his last two fights, both for titles. He was beaten in a 12-round unanimous decision on Dec. 31 by Kazuto Ioka for the WBA light flyweight belt.
