Tyrese, Prince Royce spotted at Zuma (but not together)

 

Actor slash singer Tyrese was spotted on Tuesday enjoying a late night snack on Zuma’s riverfront terrace with friends. Singer Prince Royce was also spotted there that night with his girlfriend.

England’s National soccer team — in town training for the World Cup and for a game against Ecuador and Honduras at Sun Life Stadium — was seen Monday, strolling and shopping at Bal Harbour Shops, stopping in swank sneaker store Addict, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue and ending at Santa Fe for a coffee break.

Jamie Foxx and Flo Rida had dinner Wednesday at Seasalt and Pepper.

Brazilian journalist Pedro Andrade had dinner Thursday at Yardbird with ex NYSNC’er turned radio host Lance Bass and fiance, Miami native and actor Michael Turchin.

Newlyweds Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco, proudly sporting her pixie haircut, and tennis pro Ryan Sweeting were spotted enjoying a late breakfast with friends Friday at Steak 954 in Fort Lauderdale.

The 2011 locally produced indie film Magic City Memoirs made the rounds this week in the Hollywood trades. Deadline, Variety and The Hollywood Reporter all confirm that the duo behind the film, Aaron J. Salgado and Jaydee Freixas, have set up the television adaptation with a pilot order at Fox. Local executive producer, Elizabeth Guber Stephen, is also attached to the project. The award winning film was executive produced by Andy Garcia and premiered at the Miami International Film Festival.

    Sean Connery loves soccer (and Caffe Abbracci)

    Sean Connery had dinner Monday night with a group of friends at Caffe Abbracci. Connery greeted and shook hands with fans as he entered the room and was overheard chatting with restaurant owner Nino Pernetti about the World Cup, saying he regrets that his native country Scotland did not qualify and that England was eliminated in the first round. He did concede that Germany was the rightful winner. Connery also told Pernetti that what he enjoys most in life after making movies is ... soccer. The ex 007 left the restaurant, saying “Cheerio,” to the owner and his starstruck guests.

    Starz' ‘Outlander' brings novels to life

    Prepare to bend your mind. Premiering on the Starz network on Saturday at 9 p.m., Outlander is adapted from Diana Gabaldon’s wildly popular novels. Claire, a lovely British Army nurse on a second honeymoon in Scotland, is mysteriously swept from 1945 back to 1743, plopped into a strange and alien existence, including marriage to a dashing Scottish warrior, even as she struggles to return to “modern” times and the husband she left behind.
