Berea, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - The Cleveland Browns have released linebackers Quentin Groves and Larry Grant.

Groves joined the Browns for the 2013 season and played just five games before going on injured reserve in November because of an ankle injury. He had two sacks and four tackles with a forced fumble in his limited action.

The 29-year-old Auburn product has also played for Jacksonville, Oakland and Arizona in a six-year NFL career. He has 157 tackles and 8 1/2 sacks in 84 games, 29 of which have been starts.

Grant signed with the Browns last month after participating in the team's rookie minicamp.

The Ohio State product appeared in two games for Chicago last year. He has 94 tackles, five sacks, four forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries in 68 NFL games with the 49ers, Rams and Bears.
