By recent news reports I have learned that a group of Americans, and among them a few Cuban-American businessmen, wrote a letter asking President Obama to make the Cuban embargo more flexible. In other words, they want to make it worthless and weak. The justification behind this petition is that it will be for the well-being and economic gain for all involved — I mean the Cuban people.
I see it as an anticipated gift for the upcoming birthday of Fidel Castro in August. It is well-timed, taking into consideration his advanced age. Also it would be the last and most valuable award given to him for his accomplishments of more than 50 years — mainly the total destruction of Cuba and the constant subversion of Latin America.
