Re the May 23 editorial, No time to ease up on Cuba: The Castro brothers, Cuba’s tyrannical and super-longlasting rulers, have recently, as you state, stepped up actions to curtail human rights and restrict whatever minimal political dissent Cubans could enjoy in their ruined and devastated island. Furthermore, their current military and ideological support and control of the Maduro regime in Venezuela is further proof of their desire to expand their dominance and terrorist actions to other countries. This is not the time to expand trade and travel by Americans to Cuba. It takes two to tango, and obviously they don’t want to dance with us.
