Marlins acquire RHP Morris from Pirates

Miami, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Miami Marlins acquired pitcher Bryan Morris from the Pittsburgh Pirates Sunday in exchange for their third pick (39th overall) in the 2014 MLB Draft.

Morris has gone 4-0 with a 3.80 earned run average over 21 games with the Pirates this season.

In 81 career games, all with the Pirates, the 27-year-old right-hander has posted a 9-7 record with a 3.46 ERA.
