San Diego, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Cornerback Jason Verrett, the 25th overall pick in this year's NFL Draft, officially signed his rookie contract with the San Diego Chargers Thursday.

With the ex-TCU standout and first-round choice agreeing to terms, the Chargers now have all six of their 2014 draftees under contract.

Verrett earned co-Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year honors during his senior year with the Horned Frogs and was a semifinalist for the 2013 Jim Thorpe Award honoring the nation's top collegiate defensive back.

The 5-foot-10, 189-pounder registered 39 tackles, two interceptions, 14 passes defensed and one sack in 11 games this past season.
