Darvish to pitch Sunday for Rangers

The Sports Network

Minneapolis, MN (SportsNetwork.com) - Texas Rangers pitcher Yu Darvish will not be heading to the disabled list.

In fact, Darvish will pitch on Sunday against the Nationals after being scratched from Tuesday's start against the Minnesota Twins due to neck stiffness.

The Rangers said that Darvish had a clean MRI on Tuesday that showed no issues. He was able to go through a workout at Target Field on Wednesday.

Darvish, who opened the season on the 15-day disabled list with a similar injury, is 4-2 with a 2.35 ERA in nine starts in 2014.
