Blues bring in Lindstrom

St. Louis, MO (SportsNetwork.com) - The St. Louis Blues have signed forward Joakim Lindstrom to a one-year contract.

Financial terms were not released by the team, though the St. Louis Post- Dispatch reported it to be worth $700,000.

A veteran of 97 NHL games with Columbus, Phoenix and Colorado, Lindstrom has spent the past two-plus seasons playing for Skelleftea AIK in his native Sweden. He totaled 23 goals, 40 assists and 72 penalty minutes in 55 games this past season.

Lindstrom, who led Sweden with 11 points in the recent IIHF World Championship, recorded 15 goals and 18 assists during his previous NHL stint.
