Jay Z opens club at Atlanta airport; Charlize Theron talks Sean Penn


Jay Z is opening his 40/40 Club at the world’s busiest airport: Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International (where there are lots of surveillance cameras, but that’s another story). The sports bar portion is now open for ticketed passengers; there are plans to create a VIP lounge area, naturally.


Got milk? Yes! It wasn’t so long ago that maternity fashion consultant Rosie Pope was undergoing grueling rounds of fertility treatments to have her first child, J.R, 5, with husband Daron. Now the former Pregnant in Heels star is a mother of four; baby Bridget popped in March.

In local baby news, NBC-6 anchor/reporter Jawan Strader posted on Facebook that he and wife Yolanda are expecting their first child. Due date: Dec. 10.

Love happens

Charlize Theron was busy being a mom to adopted son Jackson, then, all of a sudden, she’s in love with Sean Penn, the actress tells Vogue. They’ve known each other for 18 years. “I really didn’t see it coming,” the 38-year-old actress said of her 53-year-old lover. “At the end of the day, it was somewhat effortless.”

    Dwayne Johnson is only human. Better known as The Rock, the former University of Miami football star turned pro wrestler and actor suffered a series of major injuries last year four weeks before filming began on Hercules, out Friday.
