Eden Prairie, MN (SportsNetwork.com) - The Minnesota Vikings have signed linebacker Anthony Barr, their first pick in the 2014 NFL Draft.

Barr was chosen with the ninth overall selection earlier this month after a standout collegiate career at UCLA. In his final two seasons, he totaled 151 tackles, 23 1/2 sacks, 40 1/2 tackles for loss and nine forced fumbles.

An All-Pac-12 selection in 2012 as a junior, he was a finalist for numerous honors in his senior season of 2013 when he notched 10 sacks and 18 1/2 tackles for loss.

The Vikings inked their other first-round pick, quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, on Tuesday and on Wednesday also signed safety Antone Exum, a sixth-round choice out of Virginia Tech.
