Downtown Miami’s Southeast Financial Center is adding a new restaurant and grab-and-go concept — “Zest” and “Zest Mkt,” both by Ortanique’s well-known executive chef and owner, Cindy Hutson, said Cushman and Wakefield, which handled the lease for the building.
Zest will occupy a 3,500-square-foot space featuring a centralized, open concept kitchen, with patio dining. The dining spot said its gourmet offerings for lunch and dinner will feature Asian, South American and Caribbean influences. Zest also will have a private dining room for groups of up to 30 guests.
The grab-and-go component, Zest Mkt, said it will offer a variety of breakfast and lunch options. The eateries are expected to open by the end of the year.
Hutson’s Ortanique already has locations in Coral Gables, Grand Cayman and Harbour Island in the Bahamas. The new dining options at the Southeast Financial Plaza will join other locally-themed eateries Spris and The Cheese Course, as well as The Newsstand by Books & Books.
