Eden Prairie, MN (SportsNetwork.com) - Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater has signed his rookie contract with the Minnesota Vikings, the team announced Tuesday.

Minnesota traded up to take Bridgewater with the last pick in the first round of this year's draft. It was the second of two first-round choices for the Vikings, who selected linebacker Anthony Barr with the ninth overall pick.

Bridgewater passed for 9,817 yards in three years at Louisville, including 3,970 this past season, and threw for 72 touchdowns, rushing for six more.

The Vikings also signed a pair of seventh-round picks -- defensive tackle Shamar Stephen and linebacker Brandon Watts.
