Saints sign first-round pick Cooks

Metairie, LA (SportsNetwork.com) - The New Orleans Saints have signed wide receiver Brandin Cooks to a four-year contract.

Cooks was selected with the 20th overall pick of the 2014 draft.

The Oregon State product was the 2013 Biletnikoff winner as the nation's top receiver after catching 128 passes for 1,730 yards with 16 touchdowns as a junior.

In 38 games, including 29 starts, during three seasons with the Beavers, Cooks hauled in 226 passes for 3,272 yards with 24 touchdowns.
