Sunrise police have hit the jackpot as detailed in the May 8 article Cocaine case dropped, informant protected. They get a female informant to lure people to buy cocaine, arrest them for possession, confiscate their cash and car — then they gave the informant $800,000 over five years.
Instead of finding people who are really buying or selling cocaine, they decided to create the same scenario with no risk. Is that what police work is all about now?
