Russia remains perfect at Worlds

Minsk, Belarus ( - Russia continued its winning ways by beating Latvia 4-1 Saturday at the 2014 World Hockey Championship.

Russia fell behind early against Latvia, but took control by scoring three times later in the first period.

Viktor Tikhonov had two of the goals and set up the other as the Russians improved to a perfect 5-0 in Group B play. They have outscored opponents 26-6 in the preliminary round.

Meanwhile, France rallied from a 2-0 deficit to post a 5-4 shootout win over Norway in Group A action.
