Ellie Goulding an item with Miami Beach fitness trainer

The original version of the item below about the reopening of Lario’s on the Beach contained inaccurate reporting. The restaurant that was closed down because of issues with roaches was the Cardozo Bar & Grill, which is not managed by the Estefans. Lario’s on the Beach, at 820 Ocean Dr., closed for remodeling and is reopening Friday.

There’s a good reason why the hunk who hung around pop star Ellie Goulding last week in Miami Beach, and eventually captured her heart, displayed an impressive six-pack.

He’s a fitness trainer in a beachside sweat joint.

The man who was all over Ellie as she swam in Biscayne Bay, even when she came to the edge of a one-piece swimsuit malfunction, was identified as Miami-born and bred trainer Sam Karl.

And the two have been an item since they met shortly after Goulding’s May 4 concert in West Palm Beach, according to the New York Post.

The dating habits of the singer of Lights are usually not the stuff of the tabloids. Her bio reads she had a brief fling with The A Team singer Ed Sheeran.

But unlike the latter, Karl’s a prize, women observers say.

According to his Facebook page, he’s got a three-classes-per-day schedule at Barry’s Bootcamp on Purdy Avenue, a fitness center that boasts “the best workout in the world.”

His social media profile shows Karl is a fan of the Miami Dolphins and Jay-Z’s music — but he has yet to click “Like” for Ellie.

QB’s wife pays up

Just days after we told you about the wife of Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill not paying her hospital bills, the three liens filed against her by Fort Lauderdale’s publicly funded Broward Health Medical Center were mysteriously cleared.

Translation: Someone finally paid her 6-month-old healthcare IOUs.

According to Broward County records, the liens against Lauren Tannehill were cleared April 30.

Lauren owed a total of about $7,000 for treatment during three visits to the emergency room within 10 days in October.

Oversight? The lady has been distracted at times. Back in January, she returned a rental car — and forgot Ryan’s assault rifle in the trunk.

restaurant news

Gloria and Emilio Estefan’s Miami Beach eatery Larios on the Beach is reopening Friday night at 820 Ocean Dr., after a major overhaul and redesign.

We’re told Gloria oversaw the new menu while her husband took care of the marine fossil decor.

playing the flute

B-list Telemundo soap actress Ahrid Hannaley was reportedly arrested early Wednesday after she was accused of hitting a bouncer at the Miami Beach nightclub Wall over the head with a champagne glass.

Her agent in Miami Beach declined to make Hannaley, 27, available for comment.

But word is the bouncer was treated at the club for an open head wound, and Hannaley was hauled off to jail.

The altercation started when the bouncer wouldn’t let Hannaley into the VIP area.

Hannaley once had a season-long role in the Mexican soap Vecinos (Neighbors).
