Blue Jays place Navarro on bereavement list

Toronto, ON (SportsNetwork.com) - The Toronto Blue Jays placed catcher Dioner Navarro on the bereavement list on Wednesday.

Navarro, who has hit .276 with 16 RBI and one home run in his first season with the Blue Jays, can remain on the list for three to seven days.

In other roster moves, the Blue Jays recalled catcher Erik Kratz and pitcher Neil Wagner from Triple-A Buffalo. The team also optioned pitcher Chad Jenkins to Buffalo.

Kratz has played in 11 games this season for Toronto and has hit .231 with two home runs and six RBI.

Wagner has appeared in nine games, earning a 3.12 ERA across 8 2/3 innings of work.
